What is Language & Culture Exchange Socials (LCES) events?

Language & Culture Exchange Socials (LCES) is a fun way to practise a languages and make friends at the same time also known as a language hub. LCES attracts all types of people to these events. It is a place for native speakers and language learners/those wanting to learn a new language to come together.

At our meetups you can practise: English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, sign language, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Russian, Hungarian, Romanian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese, Turkish, Greek, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Serbian, Latvian, Lithuanian plus many more

Why go to a LCES event?

Our new & regular members are generally aged 18 to 50 and from all over the world. LCES is a relaxed meeting place with absolute no pressure at all so people are free to go at their own pace. If you are new to Plymouth or not, single or a couple, any nationality or background, you're welcome to join our group to come at any of our weekly language exchange social events.
